Description

Help create tomorrow's leaders!

As a JA Ottawa volunteer, you will visit a classroom to engage students in a variety of interactive learning activities to help them learn real world skills.

JA programs are delivered free of cost to schools.

JA Economics for Success (Grade 8) This is an empowering program for grade 8 students. EFS focuses on financial literacy, challenges students to reflect on their personal goals and highlights the advantages of remaining in school for long-term success.

Students learn about goal-setting, preparing a personal budget, role play networking and interview scenarios, and learn about career choices.

JA provides volunteers with online training, materials and support to make your volunteer experience fun and meaningful.

Just a few hours of your time can transform the course of one person's life.

The process is fairly simple. Register online using the following link and you will be contacted shortly.  Please note that all volunteer applicants are carefully screened according to our policy.
