Help create tomorrow's leaders!
As a JA Ottawa volunteer, you will visit a classroom to engage students in a variety of interactive learning activities to help them learn real world skills.
JA programs are delivered free of cost to schools.
Personal Finance (Grades 9-12). In this JA Program, volunteers help develop students' personal money management skills by exploring key elements of personal finance such as spending wisely, budgeting, saving, investing, and using credit.
Students learn about the importance of planning their financial decisions, the importance of making and keeping a spending plan, and preventative methods to limit potential losses.
JA provides volunteers with online training, materials and support to make your volunteer experience fun and meaningful.
