Description

Help create tomorrow's leaders!

As a JA Ottawa volunteer, you will visit a classroom virtually to engage students in a variety of interactive learning activities to help them learn real world skills.

JA programs are delivered free of cost to schools.

Dollars with Sense - In this JA Interactive Program, volunteers will challenge students in Grades 6-9 to apply personal money management skills in their own lives, starting now! Topics include: currency, methods of payment, smart shopping, online safety, needs, wants and goals, budgeting, and basic investing.

These programs support the curriculum and help learners develop and build on skills they are taught in the classroom – giving them the tools to succeed in work and life!

JA provides volunteers with online training, materials and support to make your volunteer experience fun and meaningful.

Just a few hours of your time can transform the course of one person's life.

The process is fairly simple. Register online using the following link and you will be contacted shortly.  Please note that all volunteer applicants are carefully screened according to our policy.
