Description

Hospice Care Ottawa is recruiting bilingual volunteers in the east end of Ottawa. We are in need of volunteers to assist with our community support programs such as In-Home Support and Driver's for our Day Hospice.

Our In-Home Support program offers weekly visits by a volunteer who can provide a reassuring presence, companionship, practical support and comfort measures while giving respite time for caregivers.

Driver's offer transportation services to our Day Hospice clients to and from our Day Hospice in Orleans.

Volunteers who provide services directly to hospice clients receive 30 hours of specialized training.

For more details, you are invited to attend a Information session offered in French on Monday, March 25th at 1:30 pm or Tuesday, March 26th at 6pm @ 879 Hiawatha Park Drive in Orleans.  You must register to attend.

A new Volunteer Core training will be offered in French in Orleans starting April 16th.
