The Adult Day Program is a therapeutic program for older adults 55+. The program serves frail seniors and adults with physical disabilities or persons with early to mid-stage Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease.
The program offers a variety of activities to enhance well-being, by providing social, physical and mental stimulation. Volunteers participate as a team to support, lead and implement the Day Program.
Volunteers will be working with other volunteers, employees and members, moving from place to place within the Centre. Activities can range from carrying trays, to assisting frail clients in the Dining Room and in moving from room to room.
